Cookie Policy
Which cookies Stardustcasino uses, what each one does, how long it lasts and how you can change your choices at any time.

01Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Stardustcasino uses cookies and similar technologies on its website. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally, and our Terms and Conditions.
We keep cookies to a minimum. The site currently sets only the essential cookies needed to sign you in, protect forms and remember your age confirmation and cookie choices. Any optional cookie stays off until you agree to it, and you can change your decision whenever you like.
02What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Each time you return to that site, your browser sends the cookie back, which lets the site recognize the same browser, keep you signed in or remember a setting you chose. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in much the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by another service embedded in the page are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies stay for a fixed period or until you delete them.
03Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are needed for the site to work and to keep your account secure. Because the site cannot function properly without them, they do not require consent and cannot be switched off in the cookie settings. They are first-party cookies: they are set by our own domain and are not used for advertising.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ssc_session | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages and protects forms with a CSRF token, so that requests cannot be forged by another website. It cannot be read by page scripts. | Session: expires when you close the browser |
age_ok | Remembers that you confirmed you are at least 18 years old, so the age check is not shown on every visit. | 12 months |
cookie_consent | Stores your cookie choices (essential only, or which optional categories you allowed), so the banner does not reappear and your choices are respected. | 180 days |
If you block essential cookies in your browser, you will not be able to sign in or use your account, and the age and cookie prompts will appear on every visit.
04Functional Cookies
Functional cookies remember optional preferences, for example display settings or recently viewed games, to make repeat visits more convenient. They are not needed for the site to work.
The site currently sets no functional cookies. If we add any, they will be listed here with their purpose and duration, and they will only be set after you allow functional cookies in your cookie settings.
05Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help a website understand how visitors use it, for example which pages are visited most and where people run into problems, usually from aggregated statistics.
The site currently sets no analytics cookies. If we start using an analytics service, its cookies will be listed here together with the provider's name, and they will only be set after you allow analytics cookies in your cookie settings.
06Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies are used to measure advertising campaigns or to show relevant promotions on other websites. They can be used to build a picture of your interests across sites, so we treat them with particular care.
The site currently sets no marketing cookies. If we add any, they will be listed here, and they will only be set after you allow marketing cookies in your cookie settings. They will never be used to target promotions at anyone with an active cooling-off period or self-exclusion; see our Responsible Gambling page for how those tools work.
07Third-Party Cookies
The website itself does not currently place third-party cookies. However, when you open a game, it is supplied by the game studio or platform provider, which may use its own cookies or similar storage inside the game window to run the session, for example to keep the game state or balance in sync. The same can apply to your bank's pages when you approve an Interac payment.
Those cookies are controlled by the provider concerned and are covered by its own privacy and cookie policies. If we embed any other third-party service that sets cookies, it will be listed in this policy and, where it is not essential, will only load after your consent.
08Cookie Retention
Each cookie is kept only as long as it is useful. The session cookie ssc_session is deleted when you close your browser, the age confirmation cookie age_ok lasts 12 months, and your cookie choices in cookie_consent are kept for 180 days. After that period we ask you again, so that your consent stays current.
You can delete any of these cookies earlier through your browser settings. Deleting cookie_consent brings the cookie banner back on your next visit, and deleting ssc_session signs you out.
09Managing Preferences
You can review or change your cookie choices at any time. Use the button below, or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, to reopen the cookie banner. From there you can accept all cookies, reject optional cookies, or switch individual categories on and off.
Browser settings
Most browsers also let you view, block or delete cookies. The settings are usually found here:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or "See all site data and permissions".
- Safari: Settings (or Preferences), then Privacy, then Manage Website Data. On iPhone and iPad: Settings, then Safari.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Blocking all cookies will stop essential features from working, including signing in to your account. Private or incognito windows delete cookies when they close, so you will be asked about age and cookies again next time.
